工程学院所有研究生项目（硕士、博士）均不要求GRE。
加州大学伯克利分校（University of California, Berkeley）
超过125个研究生项目取消GRE要求。
哈佛大学（Harvard University）
Master of Science in Computational Science and Engineering （SM） 不要求GRE/GMAT。
Master of Human Development and Education （HDE） 选择性提交GRE/GMAT。
麻省理工学院（Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT）
整个电子工程和计算机科学学院（EECS）以及整个工程学院（School of Engineering）都不要求GRE成绩。
